Rules of Attending and Visiting Patients

Rules governing patient-visits and their attendees

Dear Patient,

We thank you for choosing the Tandis Hospital as your treatment center. We have put the following rules in place to facilitate your stay at Tandis and the visits by your loved ones.

The time of appointment for admissions is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. every day.

The visiting hours for ICU, CCU, and NICU visits are from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. every day. We also facilitate a web-based “video visit” for those who are unable visit their loved ones in person.

Each patient may have one companion with the consent of a doctor.

Each department at Tandis is at service for supply of drinking water and tea on request by the patient.

All inpatient-information is provided by the physician and the nurses to the patient and his/her companion.

The physician and nurse also provide self-care education at the time of discharge.

Facilities such as sofa beds, free telephone line, TV, etc. are available for the roommates and patients.

The patients and their companions may communicate with the Nursing Station by a bell which is located at the top of the patient’s bed.

Meal timings for the patients and their companions are:

Breakfast: 7 a.m.

Lunch: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Dinner: 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
