The emergency department on the ground floor, one of the specialized departments of Tandis Hospital, benefits from the permanent presence of a specialist in emergency medicine around the clock. As soon as patients’ entry, they are classified (triaged) and receive care and treatment. The nurses of this department have the necessary skills and knowledge in the field of special care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and patient triage. The emergency room of Tandis Hospital is designed in such a way that access to the triage and CPR room takes place in the shortest possible time. The emergency room with five active beds, has an outpatient operating room, a CPR room, and a psychiatric room (neuropsychiatric patients) equipped with the most advanced facilities to provide medical services to patients. All tests and graphs are documented and archived. All five emergency beds as well as the emergency operating room are equipped with a monitoring system. It is a bed with the possibility of reviving babies and children. In case of critical conditions, it is possible to admit seven people at the same time.
In Tandis emergency, all emergency procedures, repair of all types of wounds, plastering, splinting, cardiopulmonary resuscitation are performed with up-to-date facilities under the supervision of an emergency medicine specialist. Short-term anesthesia is possible, when necessary (especially for children), as well as the presence of all oncology specialists at the patient’s bedside if necessary.
Rules and regulations of the emergency department:
All the patients referred to the emergency room are classified into 5 levels by the visiting emergency doctor and according to the need for treatment-diagnosis-care measures. After triage, the patients are hospitalized, cared for or discharged within 6 hours based on their treatment needs. The patient’s diet is determined based on the patient’s needs, the doctor’s diagnosis and the type of disease, and the patients’ affairs are taken care of.
If the condition is stable, the patient can have one person with him as a companion.
It is forbidden for patients to have mobile phones in the emergency room.
In special cases, the relevant legal authorities are immediately contacted and documents and documented observations are provided to them.
